How this challenge is judged

What counts as success?

The success criteria listed below. Material criteria lock on the first settled paid contribution and are versioned with a requirements hash. An attempt must satisfy every locked criterion with reproducible evidence.

Who decides if an attempt passes?

The challenge owner and, for open-funded challenges, contributing approvers. A matching attempt needs their approval. A claim alone never unlocks funds, and bounties above $1,000 require additional platform review.

Where does the money sit until payout?

Every paid contribution moves into escrow. The ledger is append-only and authoritative, and every financial mutation is idempotent on the provider event id. Release needs quorum, no open safety hold, and an audited admin action.
